About Our Client
The main responsibilities of the global Vendor Sourcing and Procurement team are:
Operate the day to day Sourcing Operations of AXA TECH in Japan
Support all Sourcing request in accordance with VSP rules and guidelines.
Manage the commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers to support ATS objectives in terms of IT supply
Optimize existing contractual relationships from both a financial and operational stand point
Manage commercial relationships with AXA Tech strategic suppliers at both regional and global levels
Manage ongoing relationship with internal stakeholders
Implement and enforce the AXA Group Procurement Policies and Compliance within
Seek Synergies between requests and aggregate volumes across different requestors when appropriate.
Lease contract activities
Work with PPOP (Purchase ordering) team on the assets lease contract create/renewal/termination.
Train company new comers on Procurement policies and processes in place.
Together with PPOP team Secure PR compliance with Purchasing Policy and guiding principles
Facilitate contract negotiation under the supervision of contract specialist and legal team.
Overall, the Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for participating in a wide range of duties including working with vendors, domains, Finance, project managers, etc., and is responsible for supplying external related costs to internal stakeholders, including issuance of RFx and vendor selections. The Sourcing Specialist will also be working with Accounting and business management teams on adhering to the corporate purchasing policy and generating proper documentation for approvals/analysis and reporting.
The Sourcing Specialist is the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) to supply vendors' estimation, costs inquiries.
The Sourcing Specialist is empowered to ensure requestors' demands are compliant with AXA Tech purchasing policy and in accordance with the terms and conditions of our contracts with suppliers. Furthermore, he/she will review and validate the needs expressed by each requestor in AXA's standard Statement of Work (SOW) template.
You are responsible for negotiating commercial content of contracts with suppliers for specific categories
Besides being the interface between AXA Tech requestors and vendors, you will support the contract management team upon request.
＜MISSION & ACTIVITIES＞
Deliver quotations and pricing in accordance with the Purchasing Policy while assuring requestor's needs match vendor quotes.
Control compliancy of sourcing demands with AXA's Procurement Policy and verify specifications with requestors
Take action (when applicable) to inform PPOP team to hold/stop Purchase request in case of non-compliancy.
Liaise with Global internal teams when dealing with Global contracts and Major vendors.
Keep track of all requests in the VSP folder while issuing a request number to each of them
Review Store all SOWs produced by internal requestors for each work request.
Maintain internal product catalogs and store them on Procurement repository
BASE COUNTRY - Japan (no overseas travel will be required)
The Successful Applicant
Trade / Specific competencies:
Proven Know-How of procurement process and principles
Strong Sourcing and negotiation skills
Good written and spoken English
Ability to read and speak Japanese Natively or JLPT level 1.

Education and Experience Required:
Minimum 3 Years of experience is required in IT Infrastructure Sourcing
Experience with Contract management and creation process.
Basic knowledge of the IT products and services
Basic Knowledge of laws and regulations in Japan
