Senior Network Engineer (Tier 1/Tier 2)

About Our Client
Our client serves media, manufacturing, carrier, and financial services as its key customer segments, and offers all customers bilingual support in Japanese and English.
The candidate will handle Tier 1/Tier 2 supports in regards to incident/change/problem management, Service Requests and related activities for core network LAN, WAN, and B2B (business-to-business) connectivity. Manage escalation to Tier 3 support and/or vendor support (including DC) across all geographies (London, New York, Tokyo) Weekend/Holiday, some Night shift work is required (but will count as 2X working hours)
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
7+ years experience in networking (operation /integration / technical support / escalation management)
4+ years experience in Tier 2 NOC for service provider / network integrator
Configuration/trouble-shooting of connectivity to Trading Systems
Management of global Data Centre vendors
Service delivery experience is a plus
Technical Requirements: Switching/Routing (BGP, EIGRP, etc), TCP/IP, multicast, MPLS Network Security (NAT, ACL, MACsec, IPsec, etc) Hands-on experience in Cisco networking products, including Nexus series (CCNP level or equivalent), Arista
Use of network monitoring and analysis tools
What's on Offer
Weekend/Holiday, some Night shift work is required (but will count as 2X working hours) Only 38 hours a week required, working time is flexible.
