Storopack is one of the leading companies in protective packaging worldwide. Based in Metzingen near to Stuttgart, we have production facilities in 17 countries and sell our products in Europe, America and Asia.
We constantly improve the productivity of our customer`s Protective Packaging Process. Our consultative approach does not focus on individual, isolated packaging components, but as a holistic approach on continuous improvement of the entire packaging process. Our key customers include worldwide leading companies in E-Commerce and in the automotive business.
In 2014 the Storopack group expanded its footprint in Asia with the purchase of the Japanese packaging producer E-J Ltd.
We are searching for an experienced Sales Manager/Head of Sales to lead our team in Japan and to expand our market share in the AIR and PAPER packaging business.
* Market development Japan.
* Selling of complete packaging solutions.
* Selling of AIRplus, PAPERplus and Loose Fill products.
* Support and further development of established distributors.
* Expansion of customer base.
* Develop key accounts for direct sales.
* On-Site training of distributors and end users.
* Deviation analysis incl. providing concepts and strategies.
* Regular reporting on market dynamics and competitor analysis.
* Lead and train existing sales staff.
The Successful Applicant
* In depth product knowledge of packaging products and processes.
* Profound market knowledge of automated packaging systems integration.
* Proven track record in building and developing regional markets.
* Profound experience in sales and application engineering.
* Business English and Native level Japanese.
* People Management experience.
* Outgoing, pragmatic, and hands - on.
* Excellent leadership ability and a team player.
* Able to adjust to change in environment.
* Able to travel on a frequent basis.
* Lean management education, Six Sigma Certification or comparable
