- Manage the execution of the sales and marketing strategies for the Business Areas in alignment with the overall commercial strategies / objectives of Japan and Asia Pacific region.
- Manage the team of salespersons by leading from the front rather than prodding & pushing from behind, motivate, align and enable their performance in line with the agreed commercial targets.
- Design and develop sales and marketing processes taking into consideration Asia Pacific commercial focus strategy and Business Area objectives.
- Maximize growth and new business development with a strong focus on interest spread, fee income and After Tax Return on Equity (ATROE) while increasing the quality of the company portfolio.
The Successful Applicant
- To be an outstanding leader in terms of understanding & appreciating what top management wants and translating this into plan, form and structure for actionable execution items and deliver on the agreed objectives by effectively leading his/her team.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle and business solution market
- Good knowledge / understanding of financial services products and services
- Thorough understanding of key market drivers for financial services and profound knowledge of how to manage these drivers successfully.
- Ability to understand and implement the company Japan strategies.
- Highly target-driven, self-motivated and willing to take responsibility.
- Advanced level of English (oral/written).
