About Our Client
Our client is a top credit ratings agency, specializing in company/market research for various markets and industries.
-Analyzes relatively simple credits/situations/data/information utilizing appropriate methodology, criteria factors, and standards. Recommends and votes complex issuers and deals. Writes reports in a timely manner.
-Develops effective relationships with issuers, intermediaries and investors.
-Adheres to the analytical guidelines, procedures and policies established for ratings. Coordinate with analysts, managers, and staff at all levels of the organization to ensure smooth and efficient analytical work process/procedures while complying with regulatory requirements.
-Supports senior analysts within group on analytical or operational projects.
The Successful Applicant
-Must possess Bachelor degree, and MBA or CFA preferable.
-Minimum 3-5 years in financial services experience.
-Must have an understanding of financial markets and business environment including implications for analytical products and services.
-Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
-Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented, global, and multi-cultural environment.
-Have the ability to undertake rigorous analytical work and be proficient at writing analytical reports.
-Must be able to command work level English. Understands written Japanese laws and regulations.
-Ideally with the Corporate Finance sector knowledge
-Experience with programming languages and applications, database structure and other technology products (e.g., Microsoft).

-Act as the primary analyst for entities or transactions and is an active, vocal member of the committee who makes recommendations to the rating committee and prepares material for ratings publication.
