About Our Client
Our client is one of the largest life insurance companies in the United States, offering a variety of products and services, including life insurance, mutual funds, annuities, pension and retirement-related services and administration, asset management, banking and trust services, real estate brokerage franchises, relocation services and, through a joint venture, retail securities brokerage services.
The project manager ensures the quality of deliverable of the project; identifies and manages risk and issues; escalates issues to sponsor and/or project executive role as necessary; and executes project closure (which includes lessons learned and process improvements). Ultimately, the project manager is accountable and responsible for delivering a project that meets requirements, functionality, cost, schedule, and quality as agreed upon during the process of project initiation.
The Successful Applicant
*Network infrastructure; Wintel/ UNIX; Voice Telecommunications; or extensive experience in Application Development/ SDLC Project Management
*Expertise in Project Management processes regarding project plans, risk assessments, financial tracking, monthly status updates, etc.
*Expertise in leading project teams and developing positive relationships
*Demonstrates leadership, managerial skills and good communication skills
*Ability to identify and manage project risks and recommend appropriate solutions
*"Can do" attitude when facing project of any size
