About Our Client
Our client is a joint venture company specializing in commercial heavy machinery.
Collaborate with global market teams (i.e., China, North America, Japan, Middle East, ASEAN, Europe, Africa, and Latin America), product managers, R&D and ENG to collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) and define the product attributes.
oIdentify the key statements around customer, brand, and technology associated with our product areas.
oCollect VOC from customer reviews, competitor reviews, etc.
oCollect inputs from market teams, product managers, R&D and ENG.
oDefine the attributes and ensure key items are selected and measured as sub-attributes.
Define brand positioning with Marketing and establish a product strategy
oAlign with Marketing teams on brand definition (brand pillars, positioning, personality and vision)
oPrioritize top attributes and measures (with emphasis on sub-attributes) and establish strategy
oMeet with global market teams and P&L owners to align on product strategies (i.e., China, North America, Japan, Middle East, ASEAN, Europe, Africa, and Latin America)
Collaborate with product managers, R&D and ENG to assign attribute leaders & develop product roadmaps and technology roadmaps and for the attributes.
oAssign leaders in Engineering and R&D
oDevelop both short term and long term product roadmaps
Follow up the execution of product attributes realization
Work with Marketing and global market teams to promote leading product attributes to the global markets
The Successful Applicant
oExperience developing customer based product requirements, and ideally, product strategies and roadmaps
oExtensive People and cross-border leadership ability
oBachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and above 8 years of strong familiarity with product development and requirements definition. Experience with HVAC products a strong preference.
oGood communication & presentation skills.
oFluency in English is required, and fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese a strong preference.
oAble to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
