・Market data analysis competitor benchmarking
・Visit to dealers to gather partner feedback on market/product related issues.
・Product management of future models and launches
Product management for current and future models
・Compliance to Japanese market needs and standards, from both legal (homologation process) and commercial point of view.
・Specs definition (version selection, version mix, grade selection and customization).
・Price positioning and definition of volumes / mix by versions & engines.
・Launch preparation and coordination (homologation, catalogues, website, input to training, owners' manual, launch stock).
・Competitors' incentive and promotion scheme research
・Equipment market value research (competitors' catalogue, web…).
Continuous interaction with the Headquarters (communication with central Product Managers for each model, Logistics, Product Platform & Plant for specific issues).
Marketing & communications
・Input and check of all the product related issues for ATL and BTL activities.
・Participation to all the relevant marketing meetings
The Successful Applicant
・Experience in the automotive industry is preferred
・Automotive product management experience
・Strong attention to detail
・Excellent communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
・Detail oriented and numbers driven
・Native-level Japanese and business level English (minimum)
・Passion for automotive / cars is a bonus
