About Our Client
The client is the owner and operator of a major Linux distribution with it's headquarters based in Germany.
The Sales Engineer plays an instrumental role in the overall success of the sales team. In general, the SE is responsible for working with prospective customers and Channel Partners in helping to articulate the technical and business value of our solutions and strategies.
As a Sales Engineer, you will:
*Perform presentations and follow-up with prospective customers
*Demonstrate products to technical and non-technical audience
*Respond to proposals and RFIs
*Install and support of product trials
*Work with new customers to ensure success
*Work with system integrator to assess and evaluate technical challenge
*Work as part of a sales team toward reaching quarterly territory sales quota
*Provide technical support to Channel Partners
*Provide product and technical trainings to Channel Partners
*Plan and execute marketing event with Marketing and Partners
*Have a communication with Linux community
Solution area you cover
The Successful Applicant
*Must have over 3 years pre-sales experience.
*Must have Windows and deep Linux knowledge,
*Must have an understanding of networking technologies such as DNS, TCP/IP, Routing
*Must have open source software experience
*Must have a writing skill to write white paper of the products
*Must have English communication skills : Business
