My client is one of the biggest household consumer brands in Japan. Headquartered in Europe, their second largest market is in Japan. Their products are innovative and forward facing made to solve the problems of conventional fans, heaters, purifiers, hair driers, and hand driers too.

The role of the Digital Creative within the team is to develop online creative based on experience and knowledge gained through the graphics and web design industries. The role is also expected to offer a high level of input / feedback to projects.
*Understanding the strategy and tactical direction for the Japanese market:
*Work closely with the Creative Hub Traffic Manager to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
Brand Control and Management
*The brand is an important part of this role and therefore the role demands a clear understanding of the brand principles. Instilling the values in the creative developed, and ensuring the work produced is on brand and to the Charter guidelines.
*Understand the principles
*Review graphic communication to ensure it defines the brand principles.
*Use creative skills and knowledge to deliver creative solutions that answer the business objective. Take creative lead on campaign briefs when required. Investigating creative ideas and developing the concepts into working solutions. Develop working solutions to meet strategic marketing objectives.
The Successful Applicant
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Ability to understand the brand in terms of graphic communication and to work within brand guidelines
Experience of designing for online landing page and banners - both PC and smart phone
Comprehensive skills in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator.
HTML and CSS knowledge
Technical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Movable Type, Word Press
Experience on mobile advert creation and trend knowledge
Proven track record of commercial design and digital production
Strong organisational and time management skills
Project management skills
Written and verbal Japanese communication skills (Spoken and written English skills is highly beneficial)
Experience of working on multi-lingual projects and localization projects.
Experience of motion graphics/movies and related applications (After effects, Final cut and etc.)
Knowledge of Asset management systems and IT Systems knowledge is beneficial
