About Our Client
My client is one of the world's largest beauty companies with approximately $9 billion in revenue, with a purpose to celebrate and liberate the diversity of consumers' beauty. Its strong entrepreneurial heritage has created an iconic portfolio of leading beauty brands. They are the global leader in fragrance, a strong number two in professional salon hair color & styling, and number three in color cosmetics.
My client and its brands are committed to a range of social causes as well as seek to minimise its impact on the environment.
*Direct report to Country General Manager with close working relationship with Asia Regional Marketing Team
1.Brand business plan ownership incl. key input to the delivery of customer and channel sufficiency. Generate decision sheets to identify and recommend gap closing & opportunities (customer/channel).
2.Develops brand master plan including specific plans for media, trial/penetration, and in store programs across all brand elements and budget recommendations to deliver sales and share growth.
3.Define penetration driver and develop, execute and track plans.
4.Is "Who" expert for brand-market/cluster Provides insights on local consumer and competitors to key business partners.
5.Brand equity building through:
a.Initiatives design input of both consumer & customer requirements (detailed channel / customer requirements work led by sales planning team under marketing/brand manager leadership
b.Local initiative delivery leader leverages global / regional toolbox / strategies, approves local executions, including differentiation.
c.Brand fiscal-year plan ownership for local business plan & then integration of consumer / communication plan for overall FY plan. Design & deployment of FY plans to the sales organization
6.Brand budget management including recommending investment plans across all cost elements and drives choices on return on investment.
7.Coach & train direct report brand manager & grow multifunctional team capability.
The Successful Applicant
Successful Track Record in Leading Multinational FMCG & Cosmetic Industry
*360-degree marketing experience including all aspect of marketing mix.
*Successful experience in new product launches ideally in new categories
Multi-functional Team Leadership
Multi-functional team leadership experience. People Management experience.
Experience in trade/sales planning is a plus
