About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of financial and industry data, research, news and analytics to investment professionals, government agencies, corporations, and universities worldwide.
*Develop, implement, and manage annual marketing plans and associated budgets. Proactively develop, plan and execute integrated marketing programs designed to help build brand awareness, deliver top-of-funnel results, and stimulate product usage.
*Develop and execute integrated marketing initiatives that match the buyer's journey concept. Utilize Marketing Automation Platforms like Marketo to build programs for generating top-of-funnel results and nurturing leads towards conversion in a marketing funnel.
*Develop and manage Japanese web and social media content assets and SEO and SEM programs. Responsible for making editorial decisions regarding what S&P Global Market Intelligence content and product solutions will be highlighted on web properties including the local language website and campaign microsites.
*Provide analysis of the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and measure against industry benchmarks. Compile, analyze and present marketing campaign/program results to management. Utilize systems (i.e., Salesforce.com, Marketo, Google Analytics, etc.) to measure marketing campaign effectiveness including ROI, leads analysis, expense tracking, and web metrics.
*Own the responsibility of meeting marketing KPIs in Japan
*Be effective in working independently and collaboratively across the global regions
*Gather client insight, comments and suggestions on our products and services through the sales group, via direct customer contact at events, from client training visits, and through surveys and market focus groups. Establish intimate understanding of clients and market opportunities.
*Incumbent is ultimately accountable for improving key business metrics for Marketing in Japan such as campaign response rates, event attendance rates, feedback scores, quality of leads, thought leadership awareness, new content/product/service introduction and adoption, and brand awareness building.
The Successful Applicant
*Native-level Japanese with professional fluency in English; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, written and verbally
*Marketing experience, preferably in the B2B financial sector
*Ability to develop and execute marketing plans and ideas aligned to business objectives, sales goals and budget
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously for producing excellent results and meeting project deadlines
*A strong ability to work closely with various cross-functional groups in Asia Pacific and across the globe
*Experience building brand awareness and brand recall in Japan
*Experience with online, SEM, SEO, social media well as in classic marketing; experience working with marketing automation tools - eg: Marketo, Eloqua or similar software
*Experience in creating marketing collateral and campaigns, ensuring suitable localization
*Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports
*Proactive approach and ability to work independently, without direct supervision
*Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
