About Our Client
The Client is a European Pharmaceutical and healthcare organization with multiple divisions offering treatments to a wide range of illnesses. It is a globally recognized brand with a massive scale of presence in most countries.
This job comprises of the following responsibilities:
+ Develop talent pipelines via development of internal associates, creative sourcing solutions and external market mapping.
+ Liaising with talent acquisition as appropriate.
+ Be fully integrated in strategy and approach with the Head Staffing to ensure alignment in achieving the HR and Business Strategy.
+ Leadership role in driving global talent management processes. Strategic responsibilities include use of talent management data to drive new learning & development initiatives.
+ Get to know key talent across Novartis groups. Network and partner with the talent acquisition area to attract top internal talent to Japan.
+ Develop, leverage and enhance existing career development processes and tools to impact associate engagement, retention and career growth while serving the business agenda.
+ Prepare / execute leadership development strategies.
+ Leveraging corporate leadership programmes and coordinating nominations for such programmes, ensure follow up and feedback is undertaken, appropriate development plans are in place and tracking of future career paths for participants.
+ Undertake internal coaching assignment for key leaders Diversity and Inclusion (D&I).
+ Act as the focal point for D&I initiatives - developing a D&I strategy in conjunction with the Region/Country/Function Business Partners, D&I Champion and the business.
+ Providing insight, thought leadership and facilitating interventions as required.
+ Be involved in critical OD projects as required eg: culture diagnostics.
Tools & Metrics:
+ Support and coach the HR Business Partner community to enhance their capability and application of TM tools, processes and frameworks.
+ Define / monitor a robust set of people metrics, using this to inform the TM strategy.
+ Ensure the adoption of world-class assessment and development tools.
The Successful Applicant
The requirements for this position are:
+ Bachelor degree
+ Fluent English & Fluent Japanese
+ Minimum of 7 years of mixed HR/OD/TM experience, ideally supported by HR generalist experience or other HR Speciality experience gained within a Region / CPO.
+ Good consulting, communication and relationship building skills.
+ Talent management, project management (global), facilitation, coaching, cross-cultural communication, ability to network with various HR and line functions, strong work ethic, business and industry knowledge, track record of successfully managing major projects and changes (preferably global), cultural awareness and sensitivity.
+ Proven strategic skills combined with ability to implement.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Strong influencing skills in a matrix organisation.
