About Our Client
The Client is an American MNC which specializes in developing and marketing nutrition and personal hygiene products in a wide range of markets. The Client has a presence in more than 90 countries through a global distribution network of 3.5 distributors. The global employee base is 8000 employees. The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
+ Provides full-spectrum HR support in Japan.
+ Recruitment, performance management and employee motivation.
Organize staff orientation for the new employee and preparing of new hire's logistics.
+ Provides sound HR advice & assistance to all staff on all HR related matters.
+ Responsible for updating & filing all HR/personnel records.
+ Responsible for preparing and coordinating required HR & related reports for regional reporting and filing on a monthly basis.
+ Responsible for administration and coordination of training & development programs for the country.
+ Administers the staff attendance record for the payroll calculation.
+ Updates all leave records and prepares the leave balance summary for the individual staff for mid-year and year-end review.
+ Supports in administering the Health and Medical program and related insurance policy ensuring all medical claims and outpatient claims are properly approved and reimbursed to employees.
+ Organize staff activities within budgeted spending e.g. Company outings, recreational programs, Christmas Party, New Year Party, with the aim of improving employee welfare, morale and promoting employee cohesiveness.
+ Coordinates any local and Global Employee recognition program and ensures they are being communicated and distributed accordingly.
+ Ensures pro-active employee relations strategies and activities providing counsel and guidance to both managers and employees.
The Successful Applicant
The following are the requirements for this position:
+ More than 5 years of human resources working experience in a multinational company or international environment.
+ Knowledge of labor law, social insurance, taxation, payroll procedure.
+ PC literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Payroll system software, Oracle application).
+ Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
+ High level of confidentiality and ethics required.
+ Must be flexible and creative where required.
+ Mature, pleasant, well-organized and self-motivated.
+ Strong team leader when leading projects and team player when part of a project.
+ Excellent communication with ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision.
+ Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
