About Our Client
The client helps foreign companies et up their operations in Japan by provided outsourced services. They are a very international organization and operate in over 70 countries worldwide.
Learning & Development: provide guidance on development for managers and their teams. Implement Training & Development agenda, identify areas that need attention.
Recruitment & Retention: manage talent and succession planning, takes overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns.
Plays an active role in liaising with Line Managers on manpower planning and recruitment.
Produce Employment Contracts and Offers.
Manages the induction process and hold exit interviews.
Liaise and build relationships with recruitment agencies as and when necessary.
Rewards: Advices and support employees on company benefits.
Employee Relations: manage disciplinary matters, grievances, etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization.
Identifies legal requirements and labour regulations affecting HR functions and ensures policies and procedures are in compliance.
Participate and contribute to bi-weekly Regional HR meetings.
Manage HR operations budget.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different request, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Supervise payroll, compensation and benefits.
The Successful Applicant
University graduate in HR Management or related degree.
Sound knowledge of Japan Labour Law, Rules and Regulations.
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR Management.
Experience in managing and administering employee benefits plans, recruitment and compensation plans.
Good command of spoken and written English and Japanese.
