About Our Client
This company is one of the biggest ERP software vendors globally. They offer multiple business applications both on-premise and on cloud, and this position is a presales position for their Enterprise Cloud business. Their Enterprise Cloud is a fully managed, secure cloud that offers elasticity and flexibility with subscription based pricing, making it easy to access for companies. 0
*Their cloud solution provides built-in operations and management capabilities, leading to much faster implementations.
*Their cloud solution is built for mission critical operations with no trade off on performance, integration, security, failover and disaster recovery.
This is a customer facing presales role where you will support the sales teams during entire cycle of a deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
1.Present in detail the cloud service offerings and value proposition to the customers (usually to CIO's, IT managers, data center managers and internal technology staff)
2.Support and organize technical responses to RFP / RFI's.
3.Conduct detailed technical workshops with customers (usually 1 to 2 days) to define the "to-be" architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with Professional Services.
4.Work closely with the internal solution architects & customers to map the planned solution architecture into the cloud reference architecture.
5.Blue print customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks etc.
The Successful Applicant
*Very high proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
*Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
*Good understanding of ERP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
*Good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks etc.)
*Ability and willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice.
*English native speaker, any other language an asset.
*4+ years of hands-on customer facing some kind of ERP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (eg. Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity etc.)
*Experience with hosting providers, data centers is an advantage
*Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor necessary
