About Our Client
Our client is a joint venture company that manufactures top-quality, industry leading HVAC and related equipment
*Partners with business and communications leaders to evaluate communications needs in order to establish systems, procedures and processes that enable operation of the communications function for the JV in a consistent and cost-effective manner.
*Develops strategic direction and provides oversight of the JV web-presence including the customer portal and employee portal.
*Provides counsel to business leaders and business drivers regarding the company brand strategy and trademark registrations and protections.
*Establishes and drives the activities of brand transition teams for existing brands, and for acquired companies, in support of the modified master brand strategy.
*Serves as an active member of the strategic group for early engagement on due diligence and risk assessment associated with acquisition target companies.
*Supports business and key communications partners by providing a dedicated resource to manage execution of communications integration for acquisitions.
*Defines strategy and provides direction to communications integration activities associated with acquired companies including brands, messages, and communications systems based on established standards.
*Develops internal and external standardized processes and tools to streamline merger and acquisition communications integration initiatives.
*Provides management direction for the e-business services, communications services and communications systems functions to support both internal and external communications activities worldwide.
*Establishes requirements for communications systems and processes to support business growth worldwide. Directs implementation activities and ongoing
*improvements to insure systems, programs, processes and procedures enable delivery of consistent communications activities to both internal and external audiences. Plans balance communications needs with business realities.
*Evaluates new technologies and mediums for use in communications operations on a worldwide basis. Recommended usage is based on potential impact of delivery countered by potential impact on global infrastructure
The Successful Applicant
*Bilingual in Japanese and English; multi-lingual preferred.
*At least 15 years of experience in Communications, preferably internal communications.
*Additional public relations and/or marketing communications experience preferred.
*At least 7 years working for a multi-national company.
*At least 1 year of social media experience (for internal communications purposes).
*Experience with public-traded company preferred.
*Experience with remote worker communications preferred.
*At least 10 years in leadership communications
