+ Creating, managing and growing the company's presence through all relevant Japanese social media channels
+ Coordinating a content calendar with online activity, tracking social media influence measurements, and partnering with other departments
+ Develop a social media strategy with Director focusing on brand building in line with Marketing, Editorial and CRM activities
+ Be on the forefront of social media trends and new social media tools
+ Conceptualize and experiment new or alternative ways to leverage social media activities
+ Stay up to date on new media tools and best practice specific to Japan as well as for the rest of the world and provide suggestions on new channels to be explored and developed
+ Content creation, writing posts and material using social media as a dedicated communication channel
+ Ensure consistency of message being communicated across different social media platforms
+ Monitor trends and online conversations on all digital and social channels
+ Actively build and engage with followers and fans on social media platforms
+ Identify influencers and develop plans for engagement
+ Organize, analyze and summarize social media related analytics
+ Monitor online metrics to determine effectiveness of social media efforts
+ Work closely with Retail and Merchandising teams to ensure awareness of products and product categories that need to be pushed
+ Establish best reports and reporting process for online activities and social media
+ Monitor competitor's online activities and report in a timely manner.
The Successful Applicant
+ Graduate level education (or equivalent)
+ Strong project coordination and delivery skills
+ Well spoken, with excellent communication and writing skills
+ Extremely well-organized and proactive self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of the team
+ Confident character to liaise with senior people both internally and externally
+ Active on social media and digital-savvy, a continuous user of social media, both Japan-specific and rest of world
+ Good understanding of the brand
+ Fluent in written and spoken English, Japanese.
