About Our Client
Our client is the one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.
From a marketing perspective, the role will involve working on the development and execution of the consumer-facing, digitally led marketing plan in conjunction with the Japanese partner marketing teams to drive consumers to use the company service. Crucial to the role is communication and liaison with the US and Singapore based team, ensuring that the marketing materials are being created and used effectively with the partner, approvals have been sought and materials are deployed in market according to stringent brand guidelines.
From a programming perspective, the role will manage the strategic planning of all content, in close collaboration with the Japanese partners, for each channel branded content zone.
The ability to understand and progress an objective driven project plan, foresee, collaborate and work around roadblocks, and effectively manage content and staff whilst accurately reporting progress to stakeholders are essential skills to succeed in this role.
The KPIs for this role will primarily be ratings based, with heavy focus on effective stakeholder management and delivery against project milestones.
Key duties will include;
*Managing content and material delivery to Japan based digital affiliates
*Developing and managing programming and marketing opportunities to drive multiple channel and company brands across Japan
*Cultivating, managing and maintaining key relationships with top-level executives with Japanese digital partners
*Providing guidance to team members with overall responsibility for effective and on-brand delivery of programming content as well as on and off-channel marketing activities
*Building and cultivating effective working relationship with foreign based teams.
*Keeping a constant, keen eye on success metrics and market trends in Japan and course corrects quickly and appropriately encouraging growth and brand development
The Successful Applicant
*Significant experience Digital Media, Content, and Marketing
*Bilingual (Japanese / English). Japanese Native, with Business-level English also acceptable.
