Channel Marketing Manager
- Work closely with the Japan sales and overseas teams
- Operate across both retail and online channels
About Our Client
Our client is a foreign consumer and enterprise hardware, and more recently software, company that has been operating in Japan for several years.
*Manage and maintain channel marketing budgets while maximizing ROI
*Plan and implement channel go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, account and market coverage while aligning with corporate goals and direction
*Ensure alignment with marketing objectives, define programs and success measurement, and deliver programs
*Develop and execute integrated marketing programs that drive brand engagement and demand generation.
*Lead new product launch efforts including collaterals, communication strategy, merchandising procurement, training tools and related activities.
*Monitors merchandising efforts through retail channel and conduct pre and post-launch analysis to drive improvement.
*Plan and execute various large scale trade events
*Align channel marketing communications strategies with brand strategies.
*Expand and grow customer level marketing relationships.
*Track market and channel trends and adjust channel strategies accordingly.
*Analyse and report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI.
*Coordinate training for sales teams and store personnel.
*Monitor competitive activities within channel including price, promotion, new products and merchandising.
The Successful Applicant
*Strong written and verbal skills in English and Japanese
*Experience in IT will be an added advantage
*Experience in working in an MNC culture that will include interaction with US and other regions
*8+ years of marketing experience, with channel marketing background
*Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management
*Experience with developing, executing and tracking results tied to integrated, multi-touch marketing plans
*Experience in account based marketing and executive programs for large enterprise customers
*Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical
*Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important.
*Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects
