About Our Client
Our client is a leading consumer healthcare company
*Develop and implement comprehensive sub brand's marketing plans based on deep understanding of customer insights and distinctive target segmentation to effectively achieve business goals
*Sub-brand strategy - plan and build a differentiated and clearly positioned sub-brand that engages loyal customers and maximizes sales.
*Oversee and manage quality of all communication deliverables and ensure that the brand message is consistent across all sub-brands
*Partner with Brand Equity lead, Strategic Promotion Planning lead, Communications, Customer, Consumer, Category Planning and Development and Sales department to deliver the best of best consumer journey
*As a member of global marketing community, represent the Japanese market, and communicate regional market needs to the global team
*Work closely with other departments and use quantitative and qualitative metrics to deeply understand and accurately diagnose the health of the each sub brand to further evolve for future growth
*Identify and assess the competitive set a brand competes with, interacts with, and sources volume from to proactively recommend the solution to achieve the business target
*Analyze market trends, assess performance vs. plan and manage expectation,
*Get the best from agencies/partners by strategically maximize their performance to demonstrate building winning innovative ideas to drive consistent business results
*Budget and manage Marketing Expenses by sub-brand basis to drive high ROI brand activity
*Train junior marketers to improve the skillsets/competencies and upgrade the level of marketing function. Recognizes and reward individual contributors/teams for desirable performance, according to their personal motivators
*Work with Marketing Director to develop and lead a marketing team to be strongly committed to leadership imperatives
The Successful Applicant
*More than 10 years experience in marketing at multinational FMCG or consumer health / healthcare companies, ideally working with global brands and categories where both brand-building and innovation initiatives are extremely important. Experienced in building relationships with cross-functional and multinational stakeholders.
*At least 3 years in a line manager position leading and developing your own team with 3+ direct reports.
*Energetic and intuitive marketing strategist with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Self-starter leadership required.
*Strong passion to win in the competitive market/leadership to move projects ahead
*Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results
*Analytical skills & executional excellence
*Experienced in strategic marketing planning, branding and product messaging for consumer, shopper and professional
*Passion for people and team development
*Fluent English in writing, verbal communication and presentation
*Effective communication capabilities across the function and franchise
*Strong collaborator and change leader
*Can deal with high pressure situations and managing multiple priorities
