About Our Client
The client is a non-profit institute dedicated to research and education in the field of jewellery arts. Moreover, the company's mission is to protect all buyers and sellers by setting and maintaining the standards used to evaluate it's quality. In line with this, they have established an international standard in grading system that is currently used all over the world.
Their Japan office has been in operation for more then 4 years and currently employ over 40 people.
-Facilitates the timely month-end financial close process.
-Overseas and perform the accounts receivable and payable process.
-Follows up with clients to collect overdue payments.
-Performs wires and other treasury/banking duties.
-Reviews and recommends policy, procedures and internal controls.
-Assists the management team in understanding the accounting policy & procedures.
-Communicates effectively, gets along with coworkers and management, and deals with others effectively and professionally under pressure.
The Successful Applicant
-1 to 2 years experience in accounting and finance
-Nissho Boki 2 kyu qualification is preferred but not required
-Written and oral communication skills (preferable) in English.
-Excellent computer skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
