About Our Client
Our client is the most popular entertainment company in the world for their original movies, characters and publications. More than 300 employees in Japan.
This role will responsible for developing and executing corporate communication plans, working closely with the Corporate Communications Director, including PR support, lead closs project and public relations programs in order to ensure the desired corporate reputation among stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible communication skill facing to the business partners, as well as an understanding of the broader entertainment industry - and know how team work mind is important to our business . The person must have at least seven years public relations or similarly relevant experience at corporate division and have existing relationships with business, consumer, press and outstanding communications skills.
・Helps execute the communications strategies following to the business properties, which are increasingly central to the long-term business and brand, while also becoming more complicated as consumer behavior changes based upon advances in technology
・Support and help manage business partner's PR activities following the brand guidelines.
・Communicate and coordinate plans for publicity and corporate announcements around company and initiatives.
・Work with Communications team to coordinate and execute communications efforts around each business industry.
・Coordinate and help manage media relations, press materials, promotional campaigns and press events working with Japan Marketing franchise leads.
・Coordinate/Manage PR agency and send consistent message to key media.
・Actively monitor competitive and media landscapes to identify story ideas, opportunities and threats, and help develop Japan communications responses.
・Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders across the businesses being supported.
・Support Korea Corporate Communication to enhance the brand in the market working closely with director, corporate communications in Japan.
The Successful Applicant
・Minimum of 5 years of communications experience; preferably in corporate communications, public relations, media relations in the global company.
・Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills in English/Japanese.
・Existing relationships with business, consumer press preferred.
・Strong creative thinking and the ability to take initiative with projects and anticipate issues of concern.
